This is placeholder text. It is a structural starting point shipped with the platform so that nothing is blank on a fresh installation. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not fit to publish. Replace it from the admin panel before opening the platform to the public.

1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using VECOS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the platform.
If you are using VECOS on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming that you are allowed to agree to these terms for that organisation.
2. Your account
You need an account to use most of the platform. When you create one:
- give us accurate information, and keep it up to date;
- keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what is done with your account;
- tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has got into it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
3. What you upload
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your models, images, video, documents, worlds and quizzes. By uploading it, you give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you have chosen to show it to, so that we can run the service. That permission ends when you delete the content, apart from copies in backups that expire on their own schedule.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload anything that:
- infringes somebody else's copyright, trade mark or other right;
- is unlawful, or promotes something unlawful;
- is designed to harass, threaten or impersonate somebody;
- contains malware, or is built to attack the platform or the people on it.
4. How to behave
Shared worlds are shared with other people. In them, do not:
- harass, bully or threaten anybody;
- post or say things that are hateful towards a person or a group;
- disrupt somebody else's world or session deliberately;
- attempt to gain access to a world, an account or data you were not given access to;
- circumvent a moderation decision, including a mute, a kick or a ban.
A world owner sets additional rules for their own world and can enforce them there. We can act across the whole platform.
5. Paid plans
Some capabilities are part of a paid plan. If you buy one:
- the price and what it includes are shown before you pay;
- it renews on the interval you chose until you cancel it;
- cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period, unless your local law says otherwise.
We may change what a plan includes. If we reduce what your plan includes, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
6. Availability
We work to keep the platform available, and we do not promise that it always will be. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you paid for, we will tell you.
7. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we are required to, or if we stop running the platform.
When your account ends, your content is removed, and the sections of these terms that are meant to survive — the ones about content you have already shared, about liability, and about the law that applies — carry on applying.
8. Liability
We provide the platform as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content somebody else put on the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we publish a new version with a date, and the previous versions remain on record. If a change is material, we will ask you to agree to it again before you carry on using the platform.
10. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of the place we operate from, and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go somewhere else.
